We entered off site studios to polish the material for performance. Finishing touches were being applied to all aspects of the production and excitement was high. Then things came to a halt. 

We turned our attention to keeping the energy and relationships growing. We held full ensemble zoom gatherings, shared photos that somehow pertained to the project, met in small groups to improvise outside, and practiced the art of listening to each other, all with the sole purpose of growing trust, intimacy and preparing for when the time was right to perform.

One by one, I took ensemble members plus some supporters out in July on the small stage to float along the edges of the space, enjoying the quiet, unpressured, slow-paced opportunity to see details and follow our curiosity.
